Hallucinations by Pvris
Hello and welcome back!
I know it's been a long time since I last posted something on here, and I'm really sorry, but I'll try to post more again, promise.
Today I wanna write about an EP that I've been anticipating ever since the band has dropped the first single of it. American band Pvris have released a brand new EP called "Hallucinations" today and I couldn't be happier!
For the American pop-rock band Pvris, "Hallucinations" is the fifth publication after having released two albums and another two EP's prior to this new one.
Pvris singer Lynn Gunn has stated that she had written some of the songs for this EP even before their last record had been released. And that until a few weeks ago she didn't even know what to name the EP. Also Gunn said that she isn't too sure what to say about this EP as it has been a real whirlwind for her those past two years but yet she is still very proud to have finally put it out to the world.
Back in July of this year Pvris released the first single "Death Of Me" which I instantly fell in love with. Only two months later they released the song "Hallucinations" and I think at that point it was pretty obvious to everyone that whatever was coming next would be awesome. Having listened to the full EP today I can assure you that the bands latest release really is awesome.
Listen to "Death of Me" here:
The EP features 5 songs, including the two already released song "Death Of Me" and "Hallucinations" and three other songs called "Nightmare", "Things Are Better" and "Old Wounds".
With "Old Wounds" and "Things Are Better" there are two new slow songs on the record. They both sound absolutely dreamy, which is no wonder considering singer Lynn Gunns heavenly voice!
However, there are also some really upbeat songs on the EP which I would say are rather typical for Pvris. "Death Of Me", "Hallucinations" and "Nightmare" are three absolute bangers that you won't get out of your head anymore.
Pvris for sure stayed true to their musical style but also crossed some boundaries and tried to combine the original Pvris sound with something new and they definitely succeeded.
All that said, I truly love this EP and I can warmly recommend you to have a listen!

Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed it!
Until next time Xx
